Namibias præsident Hage Geingob fordømte lørda, g på Twitter Tysklands beslutning om at vidne til fordel for Israel ved folkemord processen i Haag. Geingob slår fast, at Tyskland åbenbart ikke er i stand til at lære af sin egen historie med krigsforbrydelser, folkemord og Holocaust under 2. Verdenskrig. I 1904-08 gennemførte Tyskland sit eget folkemord i Namibia og myrdede titusinder.

Namibia skriver:

Germany cannot morally express commitment to the United Nations Convention against genocide, including atonement for the genocide in Namibia, whilst supporting the equivalent of a holocaust and genocide in Gaza.

President Geingob appeals to the German Government to reconsider its untimely decision to intervene as a third-party in defence and support of the genocidal acts of Israel before the International Court of Justice.
